default is it lost forever

i am trying to start my new blog - i spent an hour writing and putting what i wanted into it then i apparently hit the wrong button and its GONE!!!! Shocked
I dont know what i did and i dont know how to find it
IS it gone FOREVER or is there some way to recover it

as far as i know if you have deleted your self you cannot get.
